Daniel O'Connell– Managing Director

As one of the founders of Proficient Scaffolding Ltd Danny has 6 years of senior management experience in the Construction industry.

Since the company was first established, Danny has personally overseen the day to day running, with 10 years experience as a scaffolder on-site he has gained enough experience to take the company to the right level.

Michael Mulvaney, BSc (Hons), MSI, IAQ– Finance Director & Company Secretary

Michael has five years senior management experience in the licensed trade and IT industry, as well as serving over six years in the Royal Marines. As a reservist, he passed both the Regular Royal Marine POC(potential officer’s course) and the AIB (Admiralty Interview Board) in 2004 for a Corp commission. Through RMR, he has had a dynamic training schedule scoping from the primary jungle of Brunei to the open plains of Dartmoor. He has several years experience within financial crime and major fraud matters from his time at Abbey Stockbrokers and working for the London Stock Exchange. But most recently he has secured and overseen a large scale NHS project in the Essex / London area, providing both static and patrolling units to the region for Proficient Security Ltd a sister company to Proficient Scaffolding LTd.

Qualifications: BSc (Hons) Financial Mathematics; SII Investment Diploma; SII Member; IAQ Investment Administration Qualification; SITO Certificated Security Risk Surveyor; Level 2 Door Supervisor (NOCN); Level 2 Conflict Management (NOCN); Over six year’s military experience through the Royal Marines Reservists; Security clearance by Treasury to Secret level; LSE candidate for Serious Fraud and Financial Crime.

Katie O'Connell - Office Manager

Katie has worked for Proficient Scaffolding Ltd since it was first established. She has many years of customer service and managerial experience. Over the last 5 years Katie has been working closely in both the financial and construction industry. As our IT specialist she has been a key worker in providing business excellence to our clients - Having designed and implemented the Quality management system for the businesses core requirements. Katie is also responsible for the day to day running of the Head Office (Enterprise Way, Wickford) ensuring all potential employees are vetted inline with BS:7091 and all customer quiries are answered and actioned in a timely manner.

Proven to be a great asset to the board Katie has recently been appointed as Commercial Director for Proficient Estates Ltd a new initative for Proficient Group Ltd and a sister company to Proficient Scaffolding Ltd.
